Its properties

Resins constituting Propolis is derived from the buds of trees and already have many isolated properties.

But a good Propolis is a concentrate of the virtues of plants and hive ... to arrive at a complex of more than 400 compounds acting in synergy! The ideal is to choose a Propolis outcome of a wide variety of trees, which is why the French original propolis is often very good, considering the wealth of our forests.

A French origin propolis is extremely rich in compounds such as flavonoids, phenolic compounds, and aromatic organic acids (caffeic, ferulic acid, benzoic acid, coumaric acid, myristic acid, salicylic acid, etc...), terpenes, essential oils, vitamins, trace elements... A real cocktail of active ingredients!

Historically, propolis is known for many properties on the human body, and it was naturally validated by common usage ("empirical" way). But more and more scientific publications ( site has a a good bibliography) validate these uses by granting Propolis a long list of benefits and actions:

  • Antiseptic
  • Antibacterial

  • Anti-oxydante
  • Anti-viral
  • Anti-fungal
